Carrie L. Cheney

Carrie gave to all those around her. As a nutrition scientist and mentor, many faculty and students benefited from interacting with her. One of many of Carrie's gifts to me was seeing how the power of positive intention could work for the benefit of all.

Carrie had been a meditator since she was a young girl and viewed all of known and unknown life as sacred. Her deepest prayer is for world peace.

Carrie is survived by her husband Pete Ruaro, mother, two brothers and their families, nieces and nephews, and two absolutely wonderful cats (Moxy and Gus). I'm sure there are others that I don't know about. I wish them all well and deep healing.
